Membership

Interested in joining Peel Archery Club?

Joining Peel Archery Club requires that members have their own equipment and a police record check (3rd party record checks are not accepted). Membership runs on calendar year from January to December. Upon joining the club, you will receive a key card that grants you 24/7 hour access to the club.

Applicants must complete a evaluation with one of our club instructors or directors. The evaluation will assess your ability to safely use your equipment, follow range rules, and adherence to range safety protocols. A maximum of three attempts to receive a sign off or applications will be denied until the next calendar year.

Single Membership

  • Includes 1 Adult and 1 Child under 18 years of age

  • Additional children can be added for $15

  • 8 hours of volunteer hours required to be applicable for a $50 renewal discount

Family Membership

  • Includes 2 cohabiting adults and 2 children under 18 years of age

  • Both adults must provide of address with a photo ID

  • Additional children must be added for $15

  • 16 hours of volunteer hours required to be applicable for a $50 renewal discount


New Membership

Application Checklist

When becoming a member of Peel Archery Club, the archer should have a basic knowledge of the sport and their equipment prior to registration.

If you’re new to the sport we recommend taking our intro lessons to get you started. Prospective members who have have successfully completed lessons at Peel Archery Club will receive a document signing off on the evaluation along with a discount code for new member applicants.

  • Read and understand Range Rules, and Range Etiquette

  • Schedule an evaluation with your instructor or Club Director and make payment for the evaluation (See Evaluation Request Form and Purchase Member Evaluation)

  • Attend the scheduled evaluation at the club (There are no refunds on missed evaluation attendance).

  • Complete and submit the membership form:

  • Police Criminal Record Check (Level 1 will be sufficient) or PAL license, or proof of employment with a government institute. (We do not accept police checks provided by third party companies)

  • Submit your documents before making the membership payment

Please schedule and pay for the evaluation before showing up to the evaluation.

 

Renewal Membership

Click on the appropriate payment link below and proceed through the checkout process. Be sure to print out your receipt before you exit, in case you enter your email address incorrectly, and include the order number onto your form.

Submit your proof of payment and completed form to the cub office (if the office is not open, place them in an envelope and drop off in the green box inside the club). Alternatively, you may scan/take a photo of your form and proof of payment, and email them to membership@peelarchery.ca

Please note that your membership is only renewed when you have either emailed or delivered the form to Peel Archery Club and payment is received.

Returning members are to do 8 hours of volunteer work at the club in order to receive a $50 discount code for the cost of renewal membership.
Family renewals are to do 16 hours (can be all done by one person or split between the two people, but in total must equal 16 hours) in order to receive a $50 discount code for the cost of family renewal membership.

Please ensure you go over your form before submitting it. Incomplete forms may be rejected.

Renewal memberships are not prorated. It’s a set price regardless of when you renew in the year.
